A short customer quote can help the next person trust you. These texts ask for a testimonial in a way that feels easy to answer.
Ask for a short quote
Hi [Name], would you be open to a one or two sentence testimonial about your experience with us?
Hey [Name], if you have a minute, could you reply with a short note on how the job went? We may share it with your first name.
Hi [Name], happy customers help us a lot. Mind sending a quick quote we can use on our site?
Hey [Name], would you share 1-2 sentences about working with [Business]? Totally optional.
Guided prompts
Hi [Name], if it's easier, just finish this: "I'd recommend [Business] because..."
Hey [Name], what stood out most about the job? Even one sentence helps.
Hi [Name], would you tell us what problem we solved for you in a short reply?
Hey [Name], any feedback you'd be comfortable with us sharing? A sentence is plenty.
Permission and thank-you
Hi [Name], thanks for the kind words. Okay if we share that with your first name?
Hey [Name], appreciate the testimonial. We'll keep it short and use only what you approved.
Hi [Name], got it, thank you. Want us to use your first name only, or first name and city?
Hey [Name], thanks again. Your note helps other customers feel confident booking.
Testimonials vs. reviews
A Google review helps local search. A testimonial is a quote you can use on your site, proposal, or social post. Ask for both when a customer is clearly happy, but make each ask clear.
Always get permission before posting a quote with their name.
